Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 19 August 2026
Scope
These terms govern your use of sahaand.com, the personal website of S. Saeed Hashemi (Leipzig, Germany). By browsing the site you accept them. If you do not, please stop using the site.
What the site is
A portfolio and technical blog: a description of my professional background, a selection of past work, my CV, and articles on software engineering. It is provided for information only. It is not a shop, not a service, and no part of it is an offer capable of acceptance — a working relationship starts only with a separate agreement signed by both sides.
Content and intellectual property
Unless noted otherwise, the text, articles, and CV on this site are mine and are protected by copyright. You may read them, link to them, and quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back. Republishing whole articles, or using the material to train or fine-tune models, requires my written permission.
Code samples inside blog posts are there to be used: treat them as public domain, copy them into your own work freely, and note that they are illustrations rather than production-hardened code.
Product names, logos, and client trademarks mentioned on the site belong to their respective owners and appear for identification only; their appearance implies no endorsement. Project descriptions are anonymised or generalised where client confidentiality requires it.
No warranty
The site and everything on it are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. I try to keep it accurate and available, but I do not promise that it is complete, current, error-free, or uninterrupted. Technical articles reflect my own views at the time of writing, not those of any employer or client, and they are not professional, legal, security, or financial advice. Test anything you take from here before relying on it.
Liability
I am liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health. Otherwise my liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this kind of gratuitous, informational website. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the site or of anything you found here.
External links
The site links to third-party pages — GitHub, LinkedIn, and others — whose content I do not control and am not responsible for. Those links were checked for lawfulness when added; if you believe one now points somewhere it should not, tell me and I will remove it.
Acceptable use
Please do not attempt to disrupt the site or its hosting, probe it for vulnerabilities without asking me first, or use the contact form for spam, bulk recruiting blasts, or anything unlawful. Automated scraping at a volume that burdens the host is not welcome; if you want the content in bulk, ask.
Privacy
How the site handles personal data is described in the Privacy Policy , which forms part of these terms.
Changes
I may revise these terms as the site changes. The version published here, with the revision date shown above, is the one that applies to your visit.
Governing law
German law applies, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. If any provision of these terms turns out to be invalid, the remainder stays in force.
